A several-hour-long cleaning operation is planned for the Jewish cemetery in Kraśnik on June 9, 2021. High school students participating in an educational project called “Flying Youth University” will pick up rubbish scattered around the cemetery. The Kraśnik City Hall also declared its assistance in the removal of rubbish and cuttings of some self-seedlings. Tomorrow’s cleanup work at the cemetery will be continued by volunteers actively participating in the Coalition of Guardians of Jewish Cemeteries over the coming months. The initiator of this project is Tomasz Cebulski, and the coordination is led by Dominik Szulc and Monika Tarajko.
