In just two days, on Sunday, July 25, 2021, another cleaning action will take place at the Jewish cemetery in Pabianice. Tidying up involves cutting bushes and small trees, raking leaves and tidying up the area around the tombstones. The organizers have the necessary equipment, but you should remember to wear comfortable clothes and footwear for field work. The community of Pabianice Jews once numbered about 9,000 people, today only the cemetery remains, which the organizers of the campaign – the Guardians of Remembrance Association – are striving to save from oblivion. Everyone interested in helping out is invited to participate in the action from 11:00 o’clock at the Jewish cemetery at Jana Pawła II Street #57 in Pabianice. The meeting is also an opportunity to meet many positive people, local social activists, history enthusiasts, as well as city enthusiasts and activists who try to infect others with their enthusiasm. We kindly invite you to participate in the action!
